OWNERS INSIGHT "Maidencombe is a peaceful place and Little Acre is an oasis of calm within it.
Set just outside Torquay it combines easy access to town with a rural existence.
For us it was the view from the bedroom and lounge that meant we just had to buy Little Acre.
It’s the sort of view that inspires all year round, with rolling hills, livestock and Dartmoor in the background."
"We have never lived in a house so full of light. In the morning the sun pours into the kitchen until mid-day when it fills the dining room and lounge. In the evening the decking is the perfect place for al-fresco dining and a place to watch the most amazing sunsets."
"Positioned within minutes of the coast path, Little Acre has been a great base for walks, runs and gentle strolls in the countryside. Although we are semi-rural, within a ten minute drive we can be at St Marychurch or The Willows. Maidencombe has the Thatched Tavern or Orestone Manor so can walk for an evening out or nice lunch. The local beach is really pleasant and we are conveniently on the bus route back to Torquay or onward to Shaldon and Teignmouth."
"We will undoubtedly miss Little Acre but really hope that someone will enjoy the property as much as we have."
